Oliv ‘the noble’ sounding string, they allow excellent exploration into a variety of sound colours. The sheep gut core of the Oliv strings is manufactured, wound and polished in the traditional way, by hand. Oliv strings offer a rich tone with complex overtones typical of gut strings.

 
The Silver D is richer in overtones than the standard gold-aluminium D and has an easier response.
