Pirastro No. 1 Universal Violin E

The No.1 E-string is the universal E String. It has a coated carbon steel core material with a high-tensile strength and is wound with a very thin chrome steel flat-wire. It gives a warm, sweet sound with outstanding response. The chrome steel winding does not corrode by hand perspiration. It also eliminates any whistling that may occur on the open E string.
